the stitch

The Stitch has been a New Orleans saxophonist 24 yrs now….a wallflower of pre Katrina Bourbon St and Frenchmen. In 2004, he recorded with “Two Pan Sam” as a producer…. with Jamal batiste on drums, David Anderson of the Mahalia Jackson Theater, now musical director, renowned jazz guitarist Ed Barret, and floutist Charles Elliot.

Stitch continued working on Frenchmen street and Bourbon street after Katrina …. Gaining the attention of Thaddeus Rashard, Russell Batiste, Kevin O'Day in various and multiple projects. Stitch has been a formidable sideman with grammy nominee artists throughout America. Recording in notable recording studios throughout his life since his teens, he now has his own recording studio studio here in new orleans. Never trying to be a big deal, becoming jaded dealing with musicians, exhaustion from kissing ass to be on the scene, he locked himself in his studio and studied MBASE, exexiling himself for the enrichment of playing saxophones. In 2020, he discovered the electric wind instruments and became a formidable contender of electric wind instruments….   

In addition, Stitch has been recruited as an artist & representative for Outlaw Soul Publishing, and Phideaux Records.
